The project Greek Living Earth presented in the context of the 6th GIS Congress of Geographical Information Systems and Spatial Analysis in Agriculture and Environment.

The GLE project was prominently featured at the 6th Congress of Geographical Information Systems and Spatial Analysis in Agriculture and Environment. Hosted at the Agricultural University of Athens from May 19–21, 2026 enable the constructive exchange of scientific views and the presentation of innovative technologies, modern applications, and new trends in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Spatial Analysis, and Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI), with an emphasis on Agriculture and the Environment serving as a major hub for researchers, tech developers, and institutions specializing in GIS, remote sensing, and precision agriculture.

Adding to the event’s engagement, Synelixis sponsored the event and hosted a dedicated booth in the exhibition hall. Attendees and industry professionals had the chance to explore GLE project, view promotional banners, and see the SynField devices currently deployed in the project. The exhibition provided a hands-on experience at how these smart technological solutions are being applied in real-world, data-driven and innovative agriculture.
